Confined-space tank cleaning and sludge removal at a petroleum refinery, with transportation and disposal of all waste materials.
A petroleum refinery required cleaning of multiple crude oil storage tanks as part of a scheduled turnaround. The work involved confined space entry, heavy sludge removal, and disposal of large volumes of petroleum waste under tight scheduling constraints.
CES provided confined-space certified crews, vacuum equipment, and waste transportation. Tanks were cleaned to client specifications, with all sludge and residual materials removed, characterized, and transported to approved disposal facilities. Work was coordinated with the refinery's turnaround schedule.
All tanks were cleaned and returned to service on schedule. Over 150 vacuum truck loads of waste were safely transported and disposed without any safety incidents or schedule delays.
