Underground storage tank removal, soil sampling, and environmental assessment for a commercial property redevelopment.
A commercial property slated for redevelopment contained three underground storage tanks of unknown condition. The property owner needed the tanks removed, the site assessed for contamination, and full documentation for the real estate transaction.
CES performed tank closure activities including product removal, tank cleaning, and excavation. Soil samples were collected from the tank pit and analyzed for petroleum constituents. A complete Phase II-style assessment report was prepared for the client and their lender.
All three USTs were removed without incident. Soil sampling confirmed no significant contamination, allowing the property transaction to proceed on schedule with clean documentation.
